We have an excellent opportunity for an "entrepreneur" minded Sales Representative. The ideal candidate for this position must have the desire, ambition and vision to be a business owner, as it is our intent that the person that fills this position is part of the company succession plan. Representative is responsible for certain sales activities of the organization. Generally provides input, counsel, and guidance for plans in marketing, advertising, and sales promotion. Implement sales policies to insure communication of new products, variations, and changes, and sales promotion and activities of the company. You should be comfortable selling intangibles (air), conceptual solutions and products to small, medium and large size companies in the highly competitive and growing marketing world.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Develops and implements strategic sales plans to achieve individual and corporate goals. Participates with sales forecasting activities and set performance goals. Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discounts rates. Advise dealers, distributors, and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques. Directs product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line.
Represents Company at trade association meetings to promote product.
Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
Meets with key clients, maintaining relationships, negotiating and closing deals.
Directs product research and development
Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.

You must be willing and able to network and prospect consistently since you will only "eat what you kill". You must also be skilled at finding new sales and strategic partner opportunities, possess excellent listening skills, be goal oriented, and willing to be trained in a selling and communication system embraced and used by all sales personnel and management. You should also have a working understanding of how to use Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. Attention to detail is a must.
You need not apply if you have not previously earned at least 100K (or very near) on a commission basis annually or if you are not willing to consistently improve your selling and managements skills.
Valid state drivers license required.
Experience: Previous commission based sales experience is preferred but not required.
Education: Degree preferred but not required.
